Raised in a bicultural, military family, travel has been a part of my life since day one. I spent my early childhood in England, where my mother is from, and attended kindergarten on a U.S. Air Force base. That early immersion in another culture shaped how I see the world—and inspired a lifelong passion for exploring it.

Growing up, my family didn’t have a big travel budget, but we had a deep love for the open road. Our vacations were full of road trips, campfires, and hotel stays when we could swing them. It wasn’t about luxury—it was about connection, discovery, and memories that would last a lifetime.

I brought that same spirit into my own family. My children were raised on road trips, camping adventures, and spontaneous getaways. One of our most memorable experiences was in 2016—a road trip from Oklahoma to California, then all the way up Highway 1 from San Diego to San Francisco. Flying kites on the wharf, breathing in the ocean air, and watching the coastline roll by—it was the kind of magic you can’t put into words.

As a unique graduation gift, each of my children chose a destination anywhere in the world—and I planned every detail myself. From Sydney and Iceland to Fiji, Melbourne, and soon, Italy—I've researched, mapped, booked, and customized each experience to fit the dream.
